The Blue Print Group of companies consists of various entities with a main focus of property development and construction.
The group has been involved in many residential developments ranging from low cost (RDP) housing projects to upmarket estates throughout
South Africa. The highlight for the group was when the Blue Print Group and its Joint Venture Partners obtained the development rights from
Codevco (A joint venture between Basil Read and the City of Johannesburg) to develop the Cosmo City township, a 200ha development to the
North West of Johannesburg. Cosmo City was the first integrated development of its kind in South Africa. The group was appointed to service
and construct 5000 fully subsidised houses and in joint venture with its partners, the group constructed and serviced 5000 another affordable
housing opportunities.
During the early 2000's the group was transformed into the company known as M5 Developments (Pty) Ltd with offices in both Johannesburg
and Cape Town. The Blue Print Group of companies underwent a restructuring in 2009 whereby the main focus of various entities was shifted
onto specialised markets. Blue Print Developments (Pty) Ltd was to focus on the development of low cost and affordable housing and WME
Developments (Pty) Ltd was formed to focus on sectional title developments. The group currently has offices in Gauteng, Western Cape and
KwaZulu-Natal.
The group is currently involved in various projects consisting of large township developments, freehold housing, sectional title units and social
housing.
